breathe slowly

to me
writing is like taking huge breaths
the ones that fill your lungs
the ones that make your lungs feel like
this is it. this is the climax of our existence. this is the most we'll get from this life.
as if, the lungs fill with the sun.

and
to me
not writing
is like taking huge breaths
of something resembling air
but
my lungs aren't fullfilled.

and so
maybe i should quit smoking.
